Hi, I'm Diogo Ferrer, founder of EXPANALOG, and just one part of the story.

Originally from Vila Nova de Gaia, my life took a turn in 2021 during a trip to Pico Island, Azores.
That journey didn’t just spark my love for film photography, it changed everything.
I was so moved by the island’s raw beauty and timelessness that I made a decision: to stay, to create, and to share.

That’s how EXPANALOG was born, a blend of “EXP,” symbolizing the experience of falling, rising, and learning… and “ANALOG,” our deep-rooted passion for film photography and vintage stuff.

What started as a personal project quickly became something greater.
Thanks to you, our community, EXPANALOG grew.
Together, we built something meaningful.
And while we can’t predict the future, we believe it holds even more beauty, creativity, and connection.

We're known for our handcrafted 3D film cases, but we’ve evolved, now offering cinematic films and film accessories that empower creators worldwide.

Through recycled canisters and sustainable practices, we preserve not just the environment, but the essence of analog: patience, care, and storytelling.
